Oh, give me a home where the Capitol dome

Isn't filled with liars and thieves;

Where seldom is heard any lobbyist's word,

And the pols don't have tricks up their sleeves.

I rarely watch or read about politics so can´t say so much about it.

That is exactly what the crooked politicians count on:  a disinterested or uninformed public.

That's how they get away with their skulduggery.
