I've been through all (except a tornado) of these and, in my experience, the hurricane was the worst one for me. I live in New Jersey and, in 2012, Sandy hit us with heavy rain and strong winds. While Irene also hit us the year before (2011), Sandy was worse. Damage was much more severe with Sandy than with Irene. While neither storm destroyed our house, they both resulted in prolonged power outages that lasted days to more than a week. So, for me, a hurricane would be my pick for the worst weather event to go through after my experiences.
