Maybe, but I've already read at least half a dozen histories of WW2, and watched the complete "Victory at Sea" and "Crusade in the Pacific" video series on YouTube.

His "Killing" books are good reads. Like Killing Patton or Killing Reagan. He writes good stuff !

I might give it a try; I saw, lately, very disturbing documentations and read articles about WWII and other conflicts involving additional, formerly hidden elements.

The degree of cruelty that some people are capable of beggars the imagination, e.g., Japanese soldiers throwing Chinese babies in the air and skewering them on their bayonets just for sport.

Oh yes, as you said, such sick-minded cruelty is unfathomable.

Sadly enough, also today cruelty against people and animals, namely child abuse is widespread.
