A Trashy Career

“Has your son decided what he wants to be when he grows up?” I asked my friend.

“He wants to be a garbageman,” he replied.

“That’s an unusual ambition to have at such a young age.”

“Not really. He thinks that garbagemen work only on Tuesdays.”

LOLWhen he gets a little older, the boy will realize that a political career will be closer to his desire.  :D

Lol - indeed, and even adults do not always see what's ahead of them in the different professions and jobs when they are still studying, undergoing a further training, changing to another domain, etc. :D

True.  :)

Lol - good that we can smile in spite of all the gloomy news; here, besides Shimon Peres, they discussed a lot about bullying and harassment in schools and university - you might have heard about "Marion, 13 years, forever" (there's no translation yet), but in the UK and everywhere, many cases, often unreported or kept secret, were uncovered lately.

And I'd like to share this inspiring quote - which should encourage people of all ages to think by themselves and to consult different sources of information:

How are you doing today?
by

Fine, thank you, Marianne.  :)<3  And you?

Bullying in universities?!  I never encountered that, except of course for official and unofficial enforcement of Political Correctness, quite contrary to Shimon Peres's advice. :O

Lol - you're welcome, :)<3 and well said! :):D As for harassment and bullying in education systems, at work, in Internet, in sports, business, etc., the matter was taboo for too long. :O:blush:

And what we see now is only the tip of the iceberg ...
