I'd love to watch Balboa cross the Isthmus of Panama to discover the Pacific Ocean, six years ahead of Magellan.
And speaking of Balboa (Rocky, that is) I'd love to watch Cassius Clay take out Sonny Liston. (I won money on that fight.)
Then it would be great to see Wellington victorious at Waterloo.
With a different kind of courage: Martin Luther at Worms, giving the finger to the power of the Catholic Church.
And how could any man worth his salt not want to see Salome dancing for John the Baptist's head?

But you've asked for just one choice so I want to see the Garden of Eden with it's talking snake, and watch Eve give Adam that blasted apple.

You're in luck, Didge.  I went back in a time machine and filmed this just for you. 

Sorry, but I couldn't go back to Biblical times for Eve and Salome.  My time machine overheats when I try to push it back more than 100 years.

Many thanks for that, I've never watched the full fight before. TV hadn't long been introduced in Australia and we'd only been married a few years. It was another couple of years before the price dropped enough for us to buy aset. Enjoyed the replay.
