I don't have one, but my friend has one and I've used it. I've never fallen before and I don't think he has either. I think people are just doing stupid things with them sometimes

No I didn't get a Hoverboard for Christmas.   :>(

I'm 59 years old and I have fallen off lots of skateboards though.

When I was 7 or 8 (in the early 60's) we had to make our own skateboards with a pair of metal skates attached to a plank of plywood.

THEY WERE VERY NOISY!

It was those darn steel wheels that made all the noise.

That's what I'm sayin'
DAMN NOISY!
Especially when there were five of us going down the hill (sidewalk) in front of the house and turning into the driveway between our house and the crabby old lady's house next door.

We had an old couple in the neighborhood that hated kids and he would throw small stones or rock salt on the sidewalk in front of their house so we would fall when we hit them. I think there is a crabby person in every neighborhood.

I think they're the most Stupid trend I have seen for a long while and they have been called back over here in the UK because of potential Electrocution.

Here in the States, we had a house fire caused by a hoverboard that was recharging. Most airlines will not transport them because of the fire hazard.

I know Amazon and Argos have.

Time will tell. I think we'll see more and more negative articles in the newspapers about them.
