my social anxiety is too bad to make real life friends.. the few real life friends i have now were made before 2010 when my anxiety started to increase more and more (to a point where i can't go up to people and talk to them in a social way)

Most definitely on line. I'm probably friendly enough but not sociable.

Probably online, but I don't have many friends online either. lol. I'm awkward IRL and on the internets  :(

I know a lot of people online, but only a few of them are true friendships. A lot of those overlap with real life. It doesn't mean that I don't value my friends in far away places that I talk to online, but I tend to have a larger group that I know in real life that I consider myself close to.

It's very close, but real friends out number online friends, although when I was on soda, I had so many great friends , which have now disappeared.......I have over 40 real friends that I see regularly...
