Mine is an imaginary angel, Merrilee, because she is an Angel of the Morning....she was my avatar when I used to play online card games, and she seems to have come with me when I moved on.

She likes Rooster, because she thinks he might teach her the Immelmann maneuver...she has been studying those since WWI aeroplane dogfights, the Red Baron and such. However she cannot seem to get the hang of it, and since she flies at the speed of light she is always banging into things...I worry she might injure herself!

Right now she is moulting...feathers everywhere... in the soup, up your nose...but here is a contrail she made for you all just this morning, all of feathers!

Actually, I invented stories with imaginary people and animals or imagined a happy issue for tragic characters from literature.

That is very dear, Marianne!

Lol - as a kid, I tried to fight against injustices and cruelty. I was and still am a bookworm - lol.

Hitman

I think once or twice I did but I'll be damned if I can remember that far back!

Hitman, my own imaginary angel Merrilee came to me only about three years ago now...so you never know!

When I was about 4, I had a friend I named Coo-coo.  He was a nebulous, dark figure that would float in the air about 6 or 8 feet away from me when he appeared, most easily visible against a white wall. He looked rather like a ghost with a gray-black sheet, no eyes or facial features visible.

He never said or did anything frightening, so I wasn't at all scared. I would just say hi, how are you?, but he never answered.

By the time I was 5 or 6, he stopped appearing, never to return again.  :)

That is interesting, OtherTink...I am personally convinced that there is some reality to the figures seen by young children, but who knows what!

Angela_Anthony

He's not imaginary...I can see him!:D

Virginia Angela_Anthony

Aw...very good kind of friend Angela, one you can (actually) see!
