The Britannica clip above was produced in the 1970s. Soviet responsibility for the massacre was not admitted by the Russians until 1989.

Churchill and FDR knew the truth, but kept it secret for the sake of Allied unity.

Yes, I have read about this before. Notice that most if not all were Officers? Just like the Warsaw Uprising. Stalin wanted any and all Poles that might become allied to the West taken out. That's why the Russians just stood back and watched the Nazis massacre the Polish freedom fighters. Less problem for him.

Hitler was bad but Stalin was even worse!
