As a slave enters the Serbian land, he becomes free from that moment, or whoever brought him to Serbia, or fled to it himself. A Serb is free to buy goods, but not to sell them.

Oh it sounds like a marvelous constitution, Kninjanin! Do you happen to know when the Serbian Constitution was ratified? Oh, I just looked, and you mention the date 1835.

The reason I ask, of course, is that the USA had no such provision in its constitution...fought a Civil War over slavery 1860-65.
