I Love anything Robotic , that I have complete Control of

Silicon-based intelligence might well be the next order of evolution. Surely within the next hundred years, we will have machines that will be able to perform ANY function better than humans can, and with a MUCH smaller carbon footprint.

And if they develop or are programmed for independent consciousness, they might decide that we are inefficient, needless drains on the environment, and act accordingly.

Then we will go the way of the Neanderthals...
