My Nan had a Spaniel and it was the Grumpy but it never stopped me from trying to play with Goldie.
That Dog bit me 7 times , think on one occasion I needed my Tetanus because it bit me hard
Oh and a Little Jack Russel that I owned called Sam bit right thru my New Black Leather boots into my Ankle , was more pissed about the boots XD
Sam would lay on my Exes Lap and if I came close , it went for me , made my Nerves Bad , can't stand Tiny yapping Dogs now.
Oh and when next doors Dog JB was a Pup , I got nibbled on , on a daily basis and God his Teeth were Sharp , he was only being playful but it really hurt
More like "nipped." When I was a boy, there was the big white german shepherd that used to wait for my friend and I as we got the top of the hill on our way to the baseball field.......smart on his part, because your thighs would be screamin' by the time you got near the crest. Then he'd come tearing out, and help you forget all about the burn as you pumped the pedals harder to escape. Then one day, my buddy had an idea. He filled his squirt gun with ammonia, and as expected, when that dog ran out to bite us as, was his ritual, a quick blast in the nose....and he never bothered us again. Viola!
When I was three a large dog ran up to me in the street and bit me on the face. I had a circle of teeth marks around my face. I was terrified as I thought it was trying to eat me.
No, but when I was a small kid, a neighbour of my grandmother had a big, very sharp watchdog who didn't like small children and who growled at every visitor. This dog was the only one who was really intimidating. I remember that I felt frustrated - lol, as I loved to play with dogs.
No, but I don't like dogs very much, especially big ones.
I haven't.

Yes I have. Had to go ER for stitches and shot
Bummer
Yes... never try and break up a dogfight.
No never but sometimes I get some fear from it when a dog is barking and getting closer to me.

I was "attacked" by two rottweilers one day I was out jogging.
One of them ripped a hole in my jacket and made a bruise on my arm.
The other one was just jumping around on the sideline for moral support.
They were playing, of course. If they had wanted to do real damage, those jaws could have done a lot worse.
The owner was very apologetic, and explained that they usually behaved, and that it was only the last few months they had started attacking people(!!)
Dog owners like that should be kept on a leash at all times.
