That's pretty common here. The last few days it's been in the 90s but earlier it was still in the low 60s. Only really two seasons where I live: the mild season (October-April) and the hot season (May-September).
Rooster, I have been clinging HARD to winter this year, not wanting it to end...but spring seems to be coming on, quite typically, in spite of me...
Crocus, snowdrops in February along with those glorious Japanese flowering cherry that are not native but they thrive here; such long-lasting blooms, still going! I saw wild trilliums right on time, earning their nickname Easter lily...daffodil, quince, now the lilac will burst open in a few days...
60*F (15*C) happened in April as usual, and then just yesterday our first day into the 70's! Today the wild thunderstorms which can come as winter gives way to spring...(sniff), my heart is really full with all this springtime drama on the Pacific raincoast!

This spring in the land I was born is quite poignant for me, because I loved those 5 years in Iowa SO much and felt close to that riverine oak prairie savannah heartland...traumatic as it was being THAT far from any oceans!
Not really.
We've been having a beautiful spring here in NY.
(The politicians have been as lousy as ever, however.)
We've gone back and forth this spring in WV. It's been hot and muggy....and this weekend, it's going to be cool and rainy

We seem to be stuck in Spring. This is the South East Coast, we usually are blistering hot by now. Yesterday only reached 87. Yikes
