What are the best kind of lockers while travelling, electronic safes or manual safes?

I am travelling for a month and I have to secure my belongings, as I have heard many cases of thefts while travelling. Need some suggestions, I have heard about the electronic hotel safes ( http://hotelsafes.com/ ) which are normally installed in renowned hotels, are they good and secure.

Yes, the electronic safes are really good and secure. Takes a lot more time to crack them than conventional safes.

I've never had need to use either kind, but I would imagine an electronic safe is more secure.
