I like the red color, and its underbelly is kinda resembles a scooter...
It is cute, and worked ok as a glider, but its rocket engine was never perfected, or even safe, as Rooster pointed out below.

No thanks! I've read about the Komet and it's total unreliability. Germans needed more time to perfect these machines. Not an accurate account of the deaths of the test pilots.
Rather try the ME-263 as a few saw service and did well.
My Uncle never could get his hands on a jet or rocket plane to restore as the Feds still kept them a tight secret.
