One of mine is that I never heard Swedish tenor Jussi Björling sing in person...this is from one of his last concerts, in 1960, when I was already 15 years old!

I could have hiked across the North American continent, stayed with Tink's family in Long Island (since Tink herself was not born until twenty years later or something like that), then I could hitchhike across the Atlantic to Gothenburg in Sweden and listen to this!

I never even heard of Jussi (who must have been sent by angels or something) until I began listening to Charley Pride after his death last December...they both sang "O Holy Night"...prepare yourself for something wonderful here...

Not attending a concert before 2016....I’ve made up for it since.

Hope I get to see the two I have booked in Autumn.

I actually did a double-take on your post SFA --- could hardly imagine that, as much as you like concerts now!

I have not attended any concerts for many years now, but I began them in 1967, with Janis Joplin when she was with Big Brother & the Holding Company, plus Jefferson Airplane and all those folks, they would come to Fillmore West in San Francisco...all the strobe lights and special effects fascinating for a country girl of rural SW Washington state...

Yes I am hoping for your autumn concerts to work out also!

Can't remember how many concerts I saw at Fillmore West and Winterland.

Rooster I learned something about you, I did not know you went to those concerts...you were very young then, you are much younger than me, I recall!

I really didn’t go to one before 2016.it was lucky I spotted the Corrs were making a comeback.

So I booked another one for January...The Queen Extravaganza-a Queen tribute act coached by two members of Queen.

If we are still under restrictions then I will be totally barmy.
